The MV-90z Z-shaped 90mm blade gives the system a high level of light control and stability in windy conditions as the shape of the blade creates an active downward force to minimize movement of in the wind. It uses extruded aluminium side channels rather than guide wires for its operation. The MV-80c adopts a curved 80mm blade design and will allow rotation through 135 degrees. It is available with either aluminium side channels or stainless steel guide wires.

Maxim Venetians use a flat lifting tape that ensures even lifting across the blind. This patented Texband® lifting tape is designed with very high abrasion resistance and the louvres are supported by a Terylene ladder braid with double straps. All tapes are resistant to U/V and rotting for a maintenance free long life. Blinds can be made up to 5.8 metres wide with a limit of 24 square metres overall.
